A growing Sub-Acute Rehab Medical Practice on the East Coast is seeking an enthusiastic, seasoned, hardworking, proven clinical professional to take on the role of Chief Medical Officer.
Opportunity:
- Join a growing health care team, with a current physician roster of over 100 physicians
- Supervise the entire medical staff, including physicians and mid-levels, to ensure that proper procedures are being followed and that protocols are in place
- Develop and implement strategies for all staff members to follow in order to meet both short- and long-term goals, relative to data acquisition and ultimately production of white paper showing the efficacy of the group’s services within the SNF
- Review facility data and perform staff evaluations
- Improve administrative policies regarding patient filing systems, document management, and other essential clerical details
- Monitor clinical performance and find ways to improve it both administratively and clinically
- Create benchmarks for key performance indicators
- Establish relationships with Skilled Nursing Facilities, to grow our program
- Work directly with CEO and CFO to expand service offerings within the SNFs
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of clinical and administrative experience in a relevant, multi-facility, multi-site, complex care delivery organization, including experience as a Chief Medical Officer or Medical Director of a Skilled Nursing Community or Hospital System
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a practicing physician.
- Must be Board Certified in their specialty (prefer Internal Medicine but will consider other specialties).
- The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a successful transformation involving significant clinical process, practice change, and performance improvement.
