Seeking Internal Medicine|Hospitalist Opportunity Near Beautiful Denver, Colorado !! Internal Medicine | Hospitalist needed in 2015.

This position would be part of Primary Care group, a Hospital owned group. Work in a beautiful new facility right on the hospital campus. This is a combined hospitalist and outpatient medicine position. When doing inpatient medicine candidate will be the hospitalist and on call for 24 hours during their shift. Candidate will have five weeks with no call and then a week of being on call. During the call week (Call is 1:4 - 1:6 depending upon you set up your schedule as a group) there will be inpatient medicine only as the hospitalist.

The schedule is typically beginning Friday morning at 8:00 am and go to the next Friday morning at 8:00 am. ICU coverage required. See 20-24 patients a day when in clinic doing outpatient the other five weeks. There is an open ICU with 6 beds averaging 1 patient a day.

The Hospitalist load is usually about 12 patients a day with around 5 admits per day. The load at night is not usually very high. There is little call from the ED and only about 2-3 times during a week is it necessary to return to the hospital. Experience needed with vents and ICU patient management. There is assistance with central lines. EMR being used.

A competitive salary is being offered plus a signing bonus, relocation and benefits. unable to accept visa candidates. Residents, fellows, or practicing candidates are acceptable. Position is available to start October 2015. The Medical Center is a 50-bed acute-care hospital, fully accredited by The Joint Commission. With a Level III Trauma Center, a 24-hour Emergency Room and many other services, the hospital primarily serves a two-county area of 35,000. Our diagnostic imaging services include MRI, Nuclear medicine, CT, Radiography, ACR certified Mammography and Ultrasound. Rehab services include Physical, Occupational, Sports Medicine and Speech Therapies. Other services include Cardiopulmonary, Surgery, complete Lab Services, Obstetrics, Social Services, Dietary and Home Health, inpatient behavioral health.
