Cross Country Locums is seeking several Internal Medicine Physicians to assist in Colorado. ( Work Location and Dates To Be Determined )
Must have a Colorado Medical License and Federal DEA registered in the state
Desired Schedule: Shifts may vary in duration and may be 8, 10 or 12-hours per day. Temporary medical staff may be needed any time, 24 hours/day; 7 days/week. If some services are required to be conducted via telemed, then these services will be conducted from a DOC facility and will not be allowed to conduct them from home/private office.
Reason for Coverage: CDOC has seen an uptick in COVID cases. Additional providers are needed to meet the patient demand.
Worksite Setting: Prison/Correctional Medicine
Scope of Work: General internal Medicine Cases; about 10-12 patients/day. Must be familiar with EHR. Must be able to keep up with charting and case load.
Requirements: Mandatory training must be completed prior to initial reporting to CDOC for any shifts. Training can be completed online and is approx. 4 hours in length. Certificate of training completion must be turned into the client. Provider will be paid for the 4 hours of training. Training could consist of computer usage policies, prison rape elimination act, rules/regulation, etc.
All providers must pass the DOC background check
Cross Country Locums will provide and arrange all of your travel arrangements, assist you with your credentialing and provide you with A ++ Professional Malpractice Insurance.
