Required Skills and Experience:

• MUST be able to work full time. Will not consider per diem or part time candidates.

• NY State Licensed Physician: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.

• Minimum of 3 years experience.

• Must be tech-savvy and be able to easily utilize a smartphone, tablet, and EMR.

• Background Check/ Active medical license with check is required.


What you need to know:

• Physician will mostly be doing home visits to treat patients, but will also utilize telemedicine when needed.

• Patient load: Currently scheduling for 2-3 telemedicine visits per hour, or 8-10 home visits in a 12-hour shift.

• No office in NYC, the Telemedicine shifts will be completed from home (requires a private/quiet place) and house call shifts involve a driver picking up the provider in the morning and dropping them off at home at the end of the day.

• This is a startup company, so Client is looking for someone who’s seeking a unique practice environment that uses technology to deliver primary care to patients’ homes (telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, and house calls).

• Travel to a patient’s home/work setting to provide evidence-based medical care.

• Ability to treat and manage the health and well-being of patients (from adults to seniors) as it pertains to their wellness, urgent medical issues, and chronic illness with a goal of establishing a primary care relationship.

• Strong work ethic with effective communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

• Attention to detail, especially in medical documentation.

• Knowledge of HEDIS measures and the ability to close gaps in medical care.

• Participation in Heal related activities to build and test products.

• Clinical supervision of medical assistants when working together.

• Work with Medical Directors and the Chief Medical Officer to identify opportunities to innovate and improve medical care.
