In partnership with NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island our teams accommodate more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. Responsibilities:

We are seeking a part time Attending Physician to work with our Internal Medicine Residents in a clinic setting two days per week.

- Attend to internal medicine resident outpatient clinics, providing direct patient care and direct education

- Supervise and evaluate medical residents and students

- Provide clinical guidance and direction to other members of the healthcare team as needed

- Performs other administrative, professional, consultative duties as needed by the department Chairperson

Qualifications:

- Active, unrestricted NYS License

- Current Board Certification in Internal Medicine required

- Experience teaching medical residents and students required

- Collegial demeanor

- Experience attending to an underserved population preferred
