- 7 on- 7 off
- Days, 8am-4pm
- Night call through 8am following day
- Requirements:
- BLS, ACLS
- Must be board certified or within 3 years of residency
- Clinical Details:
- ED is covered by the APP on staff. Locums provider will consult on 100% of the admits and Discharges for each shift.
- Hospitalist will help cover in the ER, ER experience is needed because of this.
- NO ICU - Stabilize and ship. ER NP has been there for years and rarely needs help, only advising if they need to transfer.
- Average census is usually 5 or less
- Patients are usually Pneumonia and COPD, Chronic illness, etc.
- Call:
- Night call - will hold beeper overnight, no call back. Consults only, and those are very rare
