Medical Oncology / Internal Medicine Hospitalist

NEW POSITION for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center / James Cancer Hospital

The Division of Medical Oncology at The Ohio State University, College of Medicine, is seeking hospitalists to cover inpatient Medical Oncology services with the assistance of board certified medical oncologists and advanced practice providers. Responsibilities include oncology inpatient care at the new James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Qualified individuals will be appointed as faculty. This is an academic position that emphasizes high quality patient care.

Work Schedule: We anticipate a 2-week on, followed by 2-week off, with a 7-day a week schedule, for up to 200 day shifts per year, working from 7:00 AM to sign out at 6:00 PM. Night coverage is provided by in house moonlighting physicians and/or advanced practice providers, with limited afterhours phone call responsibilities.

Requirements: MD or DO; Board certification or Board eligibility in Internal Medicine and/or Medical Oncology; Ohio State Medical License.
