**Physician Director opening in Maine**
* Located in ***Pittsfield, ME*** - 95 miles from Portland, ME
* Seeking a Board certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine M.D. or D.O. to lead our primary care network of 3 family medicine practices
* At least 3-5 years medical specialty and/or sub-specialty experience.
* Prefer 3 or more years of lead-provider/medical director/management experience.
* Well respected clinician with demonstrated leadership, facilitation, communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to think strategically and support the mission and vision of medical center
* Demonstrated interest and aptitude for the business of medicine both analytical and financial skills.

The Physician Director of Primary Care will collaborate with the Practice Director for Primary Care to form a dyad partnership in leading our primary care team, as well as provide peripheral oversight for our Walk-In Care and university health center locations. The Physician Director of Primary Care will have clinical, operational, financial and strategic duties.
