Nephrology Physician
StartDate: 10/01/2019Available Shifts: Regular 8 Pay Rate: $143.00 - 155.00

Nephrologist needed in Honolulu, HI
  • Coverage Dates (Long-term only): ASAP Start (3-4 Months to license and credential) – 6 Month commitment full time only considered
  • Shift Schedule: 8a-5p Clinic
  • Call Schedule/Responsibilities: 1:6 Call Rotation for inpatient coverage at Hospital from 7a-5p in which they will work 8a-5p rounding on patients and visiting dialysis centers around Honolulu; Night call rotation on separate week
  • 300 Beds – 25 ICU Beds; Rounds on patients in dialysis units several times per week (Fresenius, DaVita, and US Renal Care sites)
  • Type of Patients/Cases: 100% Adult –
  • 6 Other MD’s and 1 PA in practice
  • Patients per day/Volume: 12-14 patients in the clinic; while on inpatient week, up to 30 patients; New consults scheduled for 1 hour and follow-ups 30 minutes
  • Outpatient Nephrology, Inpatient Nephrology, Hematology, Peritoneal, Management of post-renal transplants Required; No Renal biopsy, Hemodialysis catheter placement or peritoneal dialysis catheter placement
  • EMR: Health Connect (Kaiser’s version of EPIC)
  • Support Staff: Shared RN’s and MA

Required Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or truly Board Eligible within 3 years of Residency/Fellowship
