Job Description

Our client is seeking a Supervising Physician to join their practice in Greensboro, North Carolina. Join a team that focuses on community health and well-being. The primary focus of the Supervising Physician is to provide oversight to two pain clinics while supervising Nurse Practitioners.

Greensboro is in Guilford County and is one of the best places to live in North Carolina. Nicknamed the "Gate City" because all the major cities in North Carolina are easily accessible. There is plenty to do with arts, entertainment, recreation, shopping, and restaurants keeping locals busy. A broad range of neighborhoods offer a diverse community that feels like a small town where young professionals and families are neighborly.

Details:

  • Permanent, part-time position
  • Schedule is 2 – 4 hours per month with supervisory duties not to exceed 4 hours
  • Supervise Nurse Practitioners who administer non-narcotic interventional pain management services
  • Sign a collaborative practice agreement with the two Nurse Practitioners and provide off site supervision
  • Analyze records and provide clinical opinion as required
  • Review examination findings and test results to implement treatment plans
  • No call or hospital required

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Valid North Carolina medical license
