Job# 20540 - Internal Medicine Physician Position - Just outside of Mobile, Alabama

• Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, closed major holidays, 1:4 call schedule
• Setting: Clinic plus follow clinic patients at one local hospital
• Procedures: Minor
• Patients Per day: minimum 17/day in clinic; average 3/day in hospital
• Patient Panel: established with room for growth
• Scheduling: scheduled day, walk-ins rotated
• On-Call: 1:4; One day per week, one weekend per month, holidays rotated
• Payor Mix: Sliding Fee Program, Medicaid, Medicare, Private, Commercial
• Reason for coverage: Internist left practice to relocate with husband
• Credentialing: In-house, Type: Facility and Payors
• Charting: Full EMR; Henry Schein MicroMD; Dragon Software; Remote access to hospital and clinic
• Certifications required: Board Certification within 2 years; BLS & ACLS (courses offered onsite)
• Staff info: 2 Medical Assistants per provider, plus RN & LPN staff in-house; 2 Internists + 2 Nurse Practitioners for Adult Medicine
