Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Department Head to lead our team in providing innovative, holistic, and high-quality healthcare for individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities.

As a Medical Department Head, you will collaborate with a team of compassionate and dedicated professionals to provide various specialized care, including medical, dental, psychiatric, physical therapy, and other services. You will also mentor medical students and post-graduate learners and ensure the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive medical care.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Board certification or board eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine
  • Licensed physician in the state of Tennessee or eligibility to obtain one
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • A commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
