A federally qualified health center is seeking an internal medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.
This facility is located in D.C.
The schedule is Monday - Friday, from 8 am - 5 pm, would potentially consider 5 days per week. The patient population is adults, with some HIV-positive patients. The required certifications include having BC or are in FM, IM or ID, DC, and DEA (will prescribe Prep. The clinician will also need to have HIV experience (and exposed to the use of Prep and PEP), must be enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid (so we can make sure they dont have any OGI inclusion or enrollment), clean background with no hits on their license but they may review case by case if we have someone with background issues. The credentialing timeline takes up to 2 months. The clinic may do some onsite tele appointments for patients who can't come in.
