Daiya Healthcare of California is a leader in the post-acute care industry recruiting for its continued expansion. We are currently seeking an experienced Regional Medical Director.

This position will require travel within the state of California (Stockton, Sacramento, and Monterey)

DUTIES OF REGIONAL MEDICAL DIRECTOR DAIYA HEALTHCARE, PLLC

The following are the general duties of the Regional Medical Director :

The RMD is responsible for affecting change that leads to improvements in clinical development strategies, and execution of clinical programs including the execution of clinical programs including the strategic planning, implementation, oversight and completion associated with each clinical project. The RMD also handles day to day operations of the Clinical Departments, and serves on various committees, both internal and external.

Job Duties

• Address issues related to coordination of medical care identified through the facility’s Quality Assessment and Assurance Committee.

• Organize and coordinate physician services and services provided by other professionals as they relate to resident care.

• Participate in Quality Assessment and Assurance (QAA) committee.

• Assist in the development of educational programs for facility staff and other professionals.

• Work with the facilities clinical teams to provide surveillance and develop policies to prevent the potential infection of residents.

• Support and promote person-directed care such as the formation of advance directives, end-of-life care, and provisions that enhance resident decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted MD/DO CA state license
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and/or Geriatrics
