Responsibilities:

  • Examine, diagnose, treat, and provide high quality patient care in the division of Primary Care in the Department of Medicine.
  • Formulates diagnosis, directs or preforms appropriate therapeutic treatment and counsels patients.
  • Provides guidance and participates in the teaching of house staff, in staff conferences, and in research projects as directed.
  • Assists in the administration and coordination of the service.
  • Performs other administrative, professional, consultative duties as needed by the Chief of Service.
  • Participates in medical research.
  • Prepares daily work log as required.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification or Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Possess or eligible for a New York State License
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to hire
