Urgent Care Physician Needed in Philly Market

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Physician Requirements
I. Active Board Certification in one of the following: A. Emergency Medicine (EM) B. Family Medicine C. Internal Medicine only considered with significant emergency medicine or urgent care experience
II. Active Pennsylvania medical license
III. Active DEA registration
IV. Valid ACLS & PALS certifications (exempt if Emergency Medicine board certification)
V. Supervision of physician assistants (PA) including potential registration as a physician assistant supervising physician with the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine
VI. Working with nurse practitioners (NP) including potential registration as a collaborating physician for CRNP prescriptive authority with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing
VII. Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearances: A. Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Certification B. Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Certification C. FBI federal criminal history certification (includes fingerprinting)
VIII. Enrollment with Pennsylvania Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP)
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position is based in multiple urgent care centers.
- Potential exposure to moderate noise and infectious diseases and blood-borne pathogens.
- Requires travel to other centers
- Physical requirements include bending, reaching, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, pushing and pulling throughout a regular work shift. Requires manual dexterity and ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
