The VA Central California Medical Center Health Care System Community Living Center in Fresno, CA is in need of a Board Certified Geriatric Physician for a one-year period with an option to extend another year.
About the opportunity:

The schedule consists of Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

The facility uses CPRS EMR for charting.
-
No call requirements.

Responsible for providing Geriatric care including: medical management and treatment for patients admitted to the skilled nursing home for IV antibiotics, rehab, wound care, palliative care and hospice care. Admissions and discharges to and from the CLC. Unit rounds.
Experience and Requirements:

The ideal physician is board certified by American Board of Internal Medicine.

BLS required.

For this assignment, any active state license and DEA is acceptable
