CHRISTUS physician group is seeking a board eligible/board-certified intensivist to join a well-respected 24/7 intensivist group delivering state-of-the-art critical care to a 300 bed nonprofit CHRISTUS health system regional referral center in Alexandria, Louisiana.

The successful candidate will join 3 intensivists and a full complement of talented and experienced advanced practice providers in a 26-bed medical-surgical intensive care unit supported by collegial medical staff with all major subspecialties. A successful applicant will be offered a nationally competitive salary with a full benefits package.

Alexandria, Louisiana is geographically located in the center of Louisiana off interstate 49 on the banks of the Red River just 3-1/2 hours from the iconic and historical city of New Orleans where you can enjoy Cajun, creole and crawfish cuisine unique to the south. The metropolitan area of Houston Texas is merely a 3-1/2 hour drive away.

Intensivist Program

• 2 weeks on and 2 WEEKS OFF

• 1 week of days (9 am-9 pm) followed by 1 week of nights (9 pm-9 am)

• No call

• 2 advanced practice providers on days

• 1 advanced practice provider on nights

• 8-12 patients per shift

• 2-4 admissions per day
