225 bed hospital needs an Intensivist for its hospital in Southern Ohio – located about 30 minutes from Dayton – approximately 1.5 hours from Columbus. They need someone to cover some weekends in 2017 and then will need 1-2 weekends per month ongoing in 2018. Weekend coverage will start Fridays at 5p and ending Monday at 8a.

2017 weekends include: Nov 17-20; Dec 1-4; Dec 22-26*holiday rate for 12/25

The assignment will include being on call for the weekend, assisting with any critical patients while on call and rounding on the ICU patients on Sat/Sun. Patient Volume is 10-15/day; Will be handling Consults and ICU and assist the hospitalist service with any critical patients, if necessary. EMR is EPIC – paid day of training prior to 1st shift. This is an open ICU where the hospitalists are trained to perform procedures and handle critical patients. Procedures that candidates should be able to handle include intubation, ventilation management, central/arterial lines, para/thoracentesis, bronchoscopies.

Candidates should be boarded in Pulmonology and Critical Care and Fellowship trained in Pulmonology and preferable also Fellowship trained in Critical Care. Candidates must have a current/active CAQH Provider ID, user name and password; a current, active license in Ohio, a Federal DEA with an Ohio address, documentation to support privileges they are requesting. Current PPD or CXR. Current Flu documentation for 2017. Credentialing takes 45-60 days with an online application and hard copy forms required to complete, but they will fast track for a November start. They will also need to complete hospital and payor credentialing forms.
