Northeast ID is seeking a full time physician to join 3 other full time physicians and 2 part-time physicians to provide inpatient and outpatient ID consultations, in person and by telehealth medicine. The Northeast Infectious Disease team provides inpatient consultation mainly at Atrium Health-Cabarrus hospital. Additionally, we provide inpatient consultation Atrium Health-University. Telemedicine is provided to Atrium Health- Lincoln and Atrium Health-Stanly, three times a week. On average, inpatient call is 1:5 and weekend call is shared amongst the physicians. Candidates must be board eligible/certified in Infectious Disease. Outpatient ID clinic is Monday-Friday, with at least one half day clinic per week. No supervision responsibilities.
