The Infectious Disease Division within Carolinas Healthcare System is currently recruiting a board-certified Infectious Disease (ID) s Physician leader to join a 20 physician group serving the greater Charlotte Metro area. This leader will have specific responsibility for one of three ID practices as well as help direct the strategic growth of ID services throughout Carolinas HealthCare System. In addition, the leader will be responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of quality projects.

The CHS ID group provides inpatient, outpatient and virtual care services across numerous populations to include HIV, transplant and virtual medicine. The group members also participate in various initiatives focused on improving ID care across the System; such as ID protocol development, medical education, clinical and outcomes research, antibiotic stewardship, and MDRO reduction through an expanding epidemiology program. In addition to clinical care, the physician will have dedicated administrative time to focus on supporting the development of ongoing ID initiatives.
