Division of Infectious Diseases
The Division of Infectious Diseases is actively recruiting for Assistant/Associate Professor positions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Direct patient care in the rapidly growing Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center inpatient and ambulatory network, including OSU East Hospital and the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Areas of academic interest in the division include:
o general infectious diseases, including orthopedic infections
o immunocompromised hosts, including cancer, transplant and HIV
o antimicrobial stewardship
o infection prevention
o hospital epidemiology
Potential to perform research in any of the above areas
Active participation in clinical supervision and teaching of residents, medical students and fellows, didactic presentations and mentoring
Formal lectures and opportunities to participate in curriculum development and other roles in medical education
Qualifications:
Candidates must have an MD, MD/MPH, MD/PhD, or DO with board certification or eligibility in Infectious Diseases
