Columbia Memorial Health located in the upper Hudson Valley Region of Upstate New York, 2 hours north of NYC and 30 minutes south of Albany, NY. It is a 192 bed facility whose philosophy is "patient first," emphasizing safety and quality in patient care. The area offers the best in/outdoor activities year-round as well as an extensive array of cultural and artistic venues.
We offer numerous opportunities for our Medical Staff to work in a progressive hospital whose range of services include state-of-the-art Medical Imaging, a very active Emergency Room, five (5) Surgical Suites, and over 37 physician practices.
We are looking for a BC/BE Infectious Disease Specialist to join our staff. This position would combine in patient consultations and outpatient office hours. Our Med/Surg census averages about 70 patients per day. There would be an average of about one in-house consult per day. The candidate would also be involved with our Infection Control Committee, our Antibiotic Stewardship Committee, our ICU Committee and our Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee meetings. The candidate would work closely with our Infection Control Coordinator.
Setting Type: In and Outpatient
Facility Description: Private office located in our Catskill Medical Campus
Other Staff: (MD's, NP/PA's/MA's): Office nurse and front-end staff
Patients Per Day: 15-20 outpatient visits
Hours: 40 hours per week
