Charleston Area Medical Center is recruiting to employ an additional BC/BE Infectious Disease physician to join our team in Charleston, WV. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm with no call.

This unique position is primarily Tele-ID consultations for multiple healthcare systems as well as correctional facilities. Outpatient clinics including HIV, HCV, OPAT and office ID. Will also provide some consults to our Teays Valley Hospital location.

Charleston area Medical Center has an excellent hospitalist team and the medical community has all specialties and sub-specialties well represented. Stimulating patient mix from a 350,000 person primary referral area. Level 1 trauma center and 100+ ICU beds and challenging referrals from busy oncology, interventional cardiovascular, renal transplantation, neurosurgery/spine, plastics/reconstructive, urology, and GI services. Our comprehensive regional medical center has state-of-the-art microbiology, telemedicine and information systems.
