(Potential for Academics & Clinical Research)
Group of 9 looking for 2 more physicians to complement staff. Wound Care certified is a plus! This group has been in existence for over 26 years.
The group covers clinics in the morning and rounding at the hospitals after. 4 of the 9 physicians are Wound Care Certified.
Each doctor sees an average of 100 patients per week. Opportunity to work in Academics and doing Clinical Research.
(Florida License & BC is preferred)
Do traditional Infectious Disease Work including:
*Management of patients with HIV and AIDS including education
*Management of chronic hepatitis B and C
*Mycobacterial infections (Tuberculosis, MAC, rapidly-growing mycobacteria)
* Fungal infections
*Viral Infections
* Parasitic infections
* Diabetic foot infections
* Skin and soft tissue infections
* Infectious of the central nervous system
* Acute and chronic osteomyelitis, prosthetic joint infections, septic arthritis
Schedule:
Each doctor work 3 clinic half days per week, if you specialize in wound care, you would cover 1 half day at the wound care clinic. The balance of the days you would do rounding and consults at the hospitals.
Call:
Call is 1 in 5 weekdays and 1 in 2 weekends.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary is along MGMA average standards with RVU production model. Full benefits from OHPG as all others physicians enjoy including 4 weeks’ vacation, 1 week CME, $5000 CME allowance, Occurrence Malpractice Insurance.
