Tower Health, located in West Reading, Pennsylvania has an excellent opportunity for an energetic and talented physician to join and lead, our UHMS Certified Wound Care Center.

About our Center:

EMR (EPIC) system in place
Patient volume and continues to grow; approximately 6,000 encounters/year
Staffed by 6, wound care certified nurses, a Medical Assistant and 2 Hyperbaric Technicians
3 fully equipped 3600 Sechrist Monoplace chambers
Transcutaneous oximetry - 6 leads
Types of patients: cancer, diabetic, chronic and acute wounds, burns, osteomyelitis, pressure ulcers


Reading Hospital is a private, not-for-profit, 700+ bed teaching and tertiary care hospital located on a 36-acre suburban campus. The modern and well-equipped hospital provides regional centers for cancer, cardiac & vascular services, orthopedics, trauma and emergency medicine. Our beautiful community of over 400,000 offers excellent schools, affordable homes and many recreation and social amenities. One hour to Philadelphia. Two hours to Washington D.C., Baltimore and New York City.


This position is a Medical Director position with clinical responsibilities. This individual will partner with a Practice Administrator and 3 other Physician wound care specialists.


Our Wound Care physicians are responsible for building the business at the Center and managing physician referral relationships with our network of physicians.

The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, several years of experience in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. BC/BE in Undersea Hyperbaric Medicine and/or Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) is a plus.
