Practice Information

  • Intermountain Healthcare is looking for one BC/BE Adult Medicine trained physician with a demonstrated interest in Wound Care/Hyperbaric Medicine to join our outpatient Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center in Southern Utah
  • Physician will primarily work in St. George with the occasional opportunity to collaborate with the Cedar City Hospital care team as well
  • Work with a highly experienced wound team of Advanced Practice Practitioners, RN’s, Medical Assistants, Hyperbaric and Wound Care Technicians
  • Opportunity available for research and advance hyperbaric critical care
  • Employment position with the Intermountain Medical Group

Requirements

  • Board Certified/ Board Eligible (BC/BE) in a Primary Care or Surgical specialty
  • Successful completion of a UHMS approved 40-hour introductory course in hyperbaric medicine with enrollment in the UHMS pathway to advanced training in hyperbaric medicine (PATH) is the minimum prerequisite, but additional BC/BE in UHM is preferred; CWS or CWSP certifications are also preferred but can be obtained once contracted and hired
  • Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
  • U.S. ACGME Residency
