This Community Hospital is a 300 plus-bed acute care, Level II Trauma facility. It is one of the largest full-service hospitals in the County, with over 500 physicians on staff. Its specialties include emergency medicine, cardiac services, transplant surgery, cancer treatment, labor and delivery, neonatal intensive care, orthopedic and neurosurgery. Some of the quality programs include the daVinci Robot, the HeartCare Institute, Cancer Center and Renal Replacement Services.This Community Hospital is the County\'s only full service cardiovascular center and STEMI (heart attack) receiving center, and is one of only ten centers in California to offer kidney/pancreas transplants. It is also the County’s only accredited Chest Pain Center, making it the first in California and the 11th in the nation. Housing the largest ER in the county, with 50 beds, the Community Hospital provides immediate, specialized care to trauma victims -- treating nearly 82,000 patients annually.
The Emergency Department at this Community Hospital is dedicated to providing comprehensive, emergency and trauma care to a diverse population. The Emergency Department is a Level Two Trauma Center, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is available to all people in need. The Emergency Department provided care to more than 77,000 people in the year 2009.
This Community Hospital is one of the busiest and largest Emergency Facilities and Level II Trauma Centers in the Inland Empire. Our new helistop provides much needed, high-speed access to the hospital for people who are need in need of emergency medical treatment. The new helistop is located on the North Wing of the hospital, adjacent to the ER.
As the largest ER in the County at 50-beds, this Community Hospital’s ED/Trauma Center is also the most efficient. With its Rapid Medical Evaluation® (RME) program, most patients can be seen by a qualified medical professional within an average wait time of 15 minutes upon arrival.
At This Community Hospital, all the ER physicians are board certified in Emergency Medicine, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of emergency care.
This Community Hospital is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center, a County designated STEMI (ST-elevated myocardial infarction, heart attack) Receiving Center and is home to a comprehensive, highly skilled team of medical specialists available around the clock.
