Seeking an experienced Board Certified, Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our faculty in the south Chicago suburbs.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidates are Internal Medicine physicians who want to be a part of the Hospitalist Program in as a Teaching Hospitalist. Faculty positions will require a minimum of three years of teaching experience in addition to completion of residency, a strong focus on clinical excellence and primary teaching functions. Teach in a community hospital setting with no publishing requirements. Candidates will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Schedule: 7 On/ 7 Off; 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

  • Inpatient volume: 15 – 18 patients per day as subject to GME caps

  • Must have three years of teaching experience post residency

  • ACLS/BLS required

  • 12 Fellowship/Residency Programs in addition to IM

  • A Capital investment of $170 million campus renovation of the hospital

    • 214 beds, support from major specialties and sub-specialties

    • Closed 31 bed ICU
