Hospitalist Locums Natchez MS
Salary 160 dollars per hour plus travel and lodging
Credential fast with clean file
Average patient census 7-14 per day -Max 29pts on high volume day
179 bed acute care facility
Steady schedule
2 doc program- 1 works long shift 7a-7p then takes call till 7a, the other works 7a-1p for the short shift
1 Mid-level, works 7a-7p, helps with admissions and sees some patients
On – Call is every other night and 5-10 calls per night on average, only return for critical patients. (vary rare to be called back)
Average patients per day is 25, it is split between the 2 docs and MLP. Patient list is even outed to be fair
Low volume facility
EMR-MedHost, has fluency and dictation
PALS, ATLS, ACLS are preferred
ED responds to codes- the HM provider will respond to their patients that code
BC in IM, FP
Open ICU-will round in ICU
Temps granted for emergency reasons only
7a-7p- admits range from 3 per day but do vary
7p-7a admits range from 3 per night but do vary
Natchez is compared to a small New Orleans, Hospital is near the MS River.
