NES Health seeks a Full-Time Hospital Medicine Physician to join our practice at Saint Joseph’s Hospital located in Bangor, Maine.

About the Hospital

  • 75 Bed Community Hospital
  • Part of Covenant Health
  • EPIC EMR
Coverage includes: 
  • Radiology during the day and telerad at night 
  • Interventional Radiology 
  • Stroke Center 
  • Psychiatry (limited) 
  • Anesthesiology 
  • Line Service (Picc Team/ CL availability) 
  • Ultrasound 
  • Hospitalist 
  • Cardiology 
  • Tele-Neurology 
  • 7 bed ICU

About the Program and Hours

  • HM Daily Census: 68-75 patients
  • No dedicated admitting provider
  • No geographic rounding
  • In-patient codes are covered by the HM team
  • No procedures are done by the HM team
  • 12-hour Physician shifts (7a-7p x 3, and 7p-7a)
  • 12-hour APP shifts (7a-7p x 2)

Qualifications

  • Active Maine license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license
  • Candidate Must be BE/BC in IM or FM
  • Active ACLS and BLS
  • Accepts J1 and H1B Candidates
