Hospitalist need in the Florida Panhandle! Do you have any availability?
Location: Florida
Training: Family Medicine /Internal Medicine
Duration: Ongoing while hiring
Board requirement: Board certified
Schedule: Blocked
Shifts: day 7a-7p or 7a-5p / night 7p-7a
Shift Responsibility: Rounding and admits
Procedures: No
Vents: No
ICU: Open
Codes: rapid response team in place during the day so our docs wont run codes during the day, but at night our docs need to be comfortable running codes
Day Census: 18-22 patient encounters during the day, rounds plus rotating admissions
Night Census: night MD handles 10-12 admissions as night plus cross covered call shared between MD and the APP's who have overlapping hours at night (1 APP 9a-9p and 1 APP 4p-4a)
Backup: Yes
EMR: unsure
Trauma designation: unsure
License requirement: Must be licensed before presentation
