We have new opportunity for Full-Time Hospitalist to join our team based in Downey.
Position Details:
Schedule: Block schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, Day shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM and evening shifts (1:6) for cross coverage.
Location: Three hospital facilities in designated region (PIH Health Downey Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center and Lakewood Regional Medical Center)
Patient Census: 12-15 patients
Patient admissions, rounding on patients, assessments, no procedures performed
Onsite Intensivist and Specialists available
Partner with Hospitalists and interdisciplinary team
Participate in Hospitalist team meetings
Requirements:
Unrestricted California State Medical License
Current California DEA certificate required prior to start date
ACGME Residency trained and BE/BC Internal Medicine
Minimum 1-2 years inpatient experience preferred
Available to work both day and evening shifts
Excellent communication skills and time management
EMR Proficient
