Premier Hospitalists is a privately run program serving the greater Tampa region including the following major hospitals: Tampa General Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital main campus, Advent Tampa and Advent Carrollwood Hospitals as well as Kindred LTAC.

Premier is currently seeking a well qualified board certified/board eligible internal medicine and/or family medicine physician to be part of our organization in beautiful Tampa, Florida. Our program is based on value-based care principles with an emphasis on direct patient care and improving outcomes as well as reducing readmissions. Our principles align with the latest hospital metrics as well as a system built to facilitate open and instant communication with consultants, pcps, and subspecialty services.

Premier offers a highly competitive salary and bonus structure which takes into account productivity as well as hospital metrics. Our benefits plan is outstanding and includes health insurance, Traditional and Roth 401K, medical malpractice coverage with tail, short term disability, workers compensation, and life insurance options.

Schedule is based on 18 shifts/month and block schedule style setup with no cross coverage call or night call. Physicians are assigned a reasonable census daily and are only taking pager call on that census. A separate admission/consult team manages new patients 24/7.
