CMH Hospitalist
Opening: 1 Full Time Physician
Location: Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, Virginia. South Hill is located approximately 80 miles south of the main VCU. Campus in Richmond, VA, and approximately 80 miles north of the Raleigh/Durham, NC area.
Start Date: Immediately/Open until filled

Practice Profile:
The team works 7 - 12 hour days, with 7 days off. During the day shift, 2 physicians and @APPs are available on site providing coverage, rounding, and 1 physician handles admissions. One provider covers the evening shift. Shifts currently start at 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
CMH budgets $5,000 per provider for CME, $1,500 for dues and subscriptions, Up to Date software accounts for each provider, lab coats, and temporary housing for up to 3 months (as available, requires advance reservation).
CMH currently uses Cerner EMR, and will transition to Epic in 2021. The current primary service area is around 90,000, covering Mecklenburg, Lunenburg, and Brunswick Counties with a secondary service area extending into North Carolina
