Job Description

HNI Healthcare is currently seeking BE/BC Internal Medicine physicians to join our team in downtown Houston @ St. Joseph Medical Center. Practicing physicians and graduating residents to be considered. Target start of August or September, 2021.

St. Joseph Medical Center - Houston, Texas

  • Competitive compensation for Houston market
  • 729-bed facility; Level III trauma (operates @ 200 beds)
  • Flexible schedule - 12 hour shifts
  • 7 am - 7 pm; 7 on / 7 off schedule
  • 24 bed ICU, managed by HNI Intensivist group
  • No procedures or codes
  • Multi-physician Hospitalist team
  • EMR - Meditech

  • Preference for real-time, data-driven clinical decision-making.

  • Ability to provide a full scope of primary care services.
  • Board certified, or board eligible, MD or DO with advanced graduate medical education and training in Internal Medicine.
  • Current, unrestricted, Texas license to practice.
  • Current, unrestricted federal, and as needed state, prescriptive authority.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
  • Local physicians preferred
  • Internal Medicine preferred. Family Medicine physicians with 5 years of Hospitalist experience will be considered.
