Clinical Details

• 30-35 patient census (shared with another provider)

• Consulting cardiologist, nephrologist and oncologist

• Open ICU

• 2 Doctors on rounding and admissions during the day

Requirements

• Must have active NC license

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (if within 3 years of completing residency) in IM, FM or Med/Peds

• Must be able to respond to hospital codes

• Required Procedures: vent management, intubations, EKG interpretation

• Preferred Procedures: central line placement, arterial line placement, elective cardioversion, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, suturing minor lacerations, I&D

• Must have active ACLS cert

• Providers must be credentialed with medicare and enrolled with PECOS as a provider
