CompHealth is currently assisting a Pennsylvania hospital with their search for a day time physician. The incoming hospitalist will see a reasonable patient census of 15 to 20 per day with at least two NPs for support. You will do rounding, admissions, consults, and discharges. There will be no procedures required. They welcome board certified IM physicians or board eligible candidate within a year of their residency. CompHealth has a licensing team that can help you with the processing and application of a Pennsylvania medical license, if necessary.

This hospital-employed opportunity has a base salary with a bonus incentive plan. You will be offered medical benefits, CME time, two retirement plan, and malpractice insurance.

Some physicians choose to live in the city for the ease and convenience, but Philadelphia's suburbs do not lack entertainment opportunities. Some of the best restaurants are located just a few minutes away from Center City, and the surrounding areas are home to many smaller clubs, bars, bookstores and coffee houses.
