Westchester Medical Center, in Valhalla, New York, the major teaching hospital for New York Medical College, is seeking a General Internist to join the inpatient Hospitalist service. Westchester Medical Center Advanced Physician Services is a collegial group responsible for managing the inpatient services including rounding and teaching of residents and providing consultative services. The Attending will be part of an academic, multi-specialty group practice comprised of over 300 board certified hospital and office-based specialists throughout the region.

The hospitalist section is comprised of board certified internists, including dedicated nocturnists, with weekend coverage shared by all members of the group. The candidate we seek must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine, have 2-3 years of experience, and have a record of teaching and excellent clinical care; experience in research (health services, QI, clinical research) is desirable. This is a hospital-based position with comprehensive benefits, including malpractice and an academic appointment with New York Medical College, if appropriate.
