**Hospitalist Director opening in Alabama**
* Located in ***Alexander City, AL*** - 70 miles from Birmingham
* Full time, permanent
* Employed
* Seeking a Board Certified Hospital Medicine Director (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician) to manage an inpatient care program with Nurse Practitioners.
* Work schedule is M-F; 8am -5pm.
* Experience required!
* Outstanding services supported by a wide array of specialists with commitment to patient safety in a team approach model.
* Close collaboration with CMO who designed program with a passion for patient care resulting in excellent quality scores. New grads and/or 5 years or less physician or hospitalist experience preferred for mentorship.

**The Hospital:**
A not-for-profit, 81 bed acute care hospital with a service area population of 52K+. With approx. 80 physicians on staff, patients are treated in specialties ranging from primary care to radiology, cardiology, neurology, oncology and many more. Notable services include CT, permanent on-site PET scanner, MRI, Cancer Center, an outpatient rehabilitation facility offering a vast array of medical and physical rehab services, including aquatics, an accredited 4-bed sleep center, wound care & hyperbaric medicine and the daVinci Surgical System with dual consoles.
