Hospitalist needed in Machias, ME.

Machias, ME / Northeast Coast of Maine / County Population of 32k.
  • Full Time and Permanent (no locums).
  • Seeking BC/BE Hospitalist.
  • Schedule: 1 week a month with rounding in the morning and evening.
  • Average volume of 800 patients/year.
  • Average Daily Census: 8 patients.
  • 25-bed Critical Access Hospital.
  • Financial Information: Base Salary + wRVU incentives, relocation assistance, signing bonus, SME, PTO, retirement saving with employer match, and much more.
Community: Machias is located in Washington County in Eastern Maine. Machias was settled in 1763 and is rich in history. Machias is an Indian name meaning "bad little falls". These falls still run furiously today and can be viewed from the park at the bottom of college hill just as you go over the bridge into downtown. Within Machias you will find a dynamic classic New England town. Machias is considered the hub of Washington County.
