Hospitalist/Nocturnist opening in Rhode Island
Located in Woonsocket, RI
15 miles to Providence RI; 45 miles to Boston, MA
Full Time, Permanent
- Approximately 14 shifts per month- can be in blocks or 7 on 7 off- depends on staffing
- Shift is 7p-7a
- Covers full hospital including ICU management
- ER is available for assistance
- Intensivist is available by phone if needed
- Average encounters is about 8 per night; this can vary dramatically on a night to night basis; I looked at a 4 month sample from Jan-April 2019
- In this period there were 6 intubations and 2 central linesagain these can also be done by the ER; Most encounters are admissions.
- Report out at 7am to the Hospitalist group
