An exciting nocturnist opportunity is now available at a hospital clinic in Rhode Island. They will consider IM or FP candidates that can start in 2019. You will work a block of 7 on and 7 off, or similar block schedule worked out with the team. The shift are from 7 pm to 7 am. The nocturnist covers the full hospital including ICU management. Intensivists will be available by phone and the ED is available for assistance. There will be one to two procedures per month to handle. The average patient encounters is about eight per night (mostly admissions), and this can vary on a night to night basis.

This hospital-employed opportunity has an earnings potential well over $300K. The salary and bonus combined is $325K to $350K potential or higher. This opportunity is just 25 minutes north of Providence and 1 hour to Boston. Rhode Island features more than 400 miles of coastline. Popular seaside tourist destinations include Newport, a sailing mecca rich with historic mansions, beaches, and spectacular scenery, and Block Island, a pristine island town highlighted by a National Wildlife Refuge and the 200-foot Mohegan Bluffs.
