A Unique Hospitalist Role that Embraces a Holistic Approach

Being a physician-led practice is a big part of who we are. Our practice is built by all of us, and everyone is empowered to contribute and make our practice even better. We optimize workloads effectively, reducing inefficiencies and consistently exceeding expectations through service excellence to our providers.

In this role, the hospitalist provider serves in a unique role that embraces a holistic approach to assuming responsibility for members of health plans seeking acute care services at the participating hospital. You will serve as an extension of the patient’s PCP/Specialists before, during and after hospitalization. To be successful in this role, you are driven by process improvement, evidence-based guidelines, advocating for patients, and keeping patients healthy and educated about their disease state.

  • 2+ years hospitalist experience with 1 year of outpatient experience preferred, primary care experience is a plus
  • Demonstrate understanding of pay for value mentality
  • Experience working in an open ICU environment; no procedures
  • Respond to Codes while in house
  • Comfortable working with telemedicine service providers
  • Adaptable to new technology
  • Demonstrate leadership skills

Focus on the True Continuum of Care

Do you enjoy breaking down common misconceptions about healthcare? Do you see the healthcare system like a true continuum of care and no longer as episodic care? If yes, this could be the ideal career for you. Your mission, in this role, is to help those we serve and to improve the outcomes of and respect the long term goals of patients.

  • Prior experience preferred in a risk-based environment such as with an ACO, Health Plan, Delegated Risk Organization, etc.
  • Open to occasional, in-market travel to other participating hospitals or for meetings
  • Access to our proprietary learning platform, SoundInstitute™, for continuing education, and professional development with convenient online and in-person educational courses, including CME
