VISTA has a Nocturnist need for an opportunity starting in May.
LOCATION: South Carolina
DATES: Several blocks of 7 nights (Monday start) are open from May through July and expect the need to continue throughout the year.
SPECIALTY: IM only
BOARD REQUIREMENT: ABIM required
SCHEDULE: Must be able to pick up full blocks of 7 starting on Mondays
SHIFTS: Nights (7a-7p)
PROCEDURES/JOB DUTIES:
--No procedures
--Support staff includes: Intensivist team, Neuro Hospitalists, ID, Mid-levels
VENTS: None
ICU: Open ICU w/ closed ICU feel due to support staff
HOSPITAL BEDS/ICU BEDS: 453
CODES: Nocturnist attends
BACK-UP: Support staff includes: Intensivist team, Neuro Hospitalists, ID, Mid-levels
CENSUS: 4-7 Admissions per night
PRIVILEGES: 30 days from receipt of completed application
LICENSE REQUIREMENT: Active SC is required
TRAVEL: Physicians who do not need flights are highly preferred
