* Multispecialty hospitalist division to work as a team that includes physicians and nurse practitioners
* Round on groups patients, no ICU, procedures or codes; Codes outside of ICU are light
* May join hospital team on your patients but they take the lead
* Two to three nurse practitioners on daily
* Team sees approximately 18-20 patients per day
* Nurse practitioners handle paperwork, discharges, orders
* Physicians handle medicine
* Typical shifts, 7:30 am to 5 pm, however will share in nights, weekends and admission shifts with other team members
* Schedule varies from 4-5 days on to 4-5 days off
