This is a large hospital outside of Anaheim, CA with over 300 beds, and a level II trauma center. It is one of the largest full-service hospitals in the area, with upwards of 500 physicians on staff. Its specialties include emergency medicine, cardiac services, transplant surgery, cancer treatment, labor and delivery, neonatal intensive care, orthopedic and neurosurgery. The facility also has a 50 bed Emergency Department.
This hospitalist program will need 3-5 full-time physicians to assist as soon as credentialed and ongoing. The start date is roughly mid January.
7 on – 7 off;
12-hour shifts either 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am;
Inpatient census will roughly run 12-15 per 12-hour shift;
Additional encounters per shift will be 1-5.
