We are looking for an Internal Hospital Medicine Specialist to join our team of fifteen. We are the second largest hospital in the state and licensed for 123 beds. Our hospital medicine program began in 2000. This is an employed opportunity, caring for the inpatients of the peripheral primary care practices who have signed on for coverage. Clinical Nurse Coordinators are assigned to work closely with the hospital medicine specialists to move patients through the hospital system efficiently and arrange discharge planning. 12 shifts in 28 days. 9pm-7am. No ICU responsibility. ICU is covered by three fulltime intensivists. Floater shifts will be 7a-5p, 11a-9p, and occasional overnight.
Must be board-certified or board-eligible. Eligibility is within five year of completion of training.
