Our Medical Center is a 328 licensed bed hospital located on 180 beautiful acres of wooded property in Michigan. The Medical Center provides a range of primary care services as well as outstanding specialty care. The Cancer Center and Neuroscience Institute are widely recognized for their medical capabilities in the areas of cardio-thoracic, oncology, neurology and neurosurgery, urology and trauma. The medical center offers services in obstetrics, orthopedics, rehabilitation, pediatrics, diabetes and emergency care among others. Ancillary services include PET/CT scanning, daVinci, Gamma Knife, radiation therapy, laboratory, cardiology, pharmacy, cardiac cath lab and on site MRI. The Medical Center also has a three-year Family Practice Residency Program, one of the oldest such programs in the country.

The Medical Center is part of local Health System, a growing health system with four medical centers, six outpatient and five urgent care centers, home care, long-term care and a physicians group. Accredited by both Joint Commission and AOA, Our Medical Center is a regional referral hospital for northern and mid-Michigan.

Requirements

Full-time, BC/BE experienced Palliative Care/Hospice Physician or graduating Palliative Care/Hospice resident or fellow. The ideal candidate will be highly efficient with excellent clinical and technical skills and experience with a busy inpatient and outpatient service.

Practice Details

Our Physicians Group has an immediate opening for an additional full time permanent Palliative Care/Hospice Physician.
•5 days a week
•Joining 3 other Advanced Practice Providers and 6 other staff
•Span services from inpatient care to ambulatory care
•Home visits may be required but rare
•Rotation of on-call after hours 1:4
•Continuing Care Practice
