An independent, community-based nonprofit Hospice and Palliative Medicine organization
in Eastern Wisconsin is currently recruiting an Associate Medical Director to join their team.

Opportunity:

  • Provide direct patient care, as attending or consulting physician, to hospice patients in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in-patient centers.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team of attending physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains.
  • Actively participate in weekly Interdisciplinary Team meetings
  • Call is mostly phone support on an as-needed basis and will be split evenly with the Medical Director.
  • Patient Census: ~150 Daily census; ~12-13 Palliative Care; ~13 Inpatient beds
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00, with some flexibility.
  • Must be Board Certified in Primary Care and BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
  • Previous Hospice Experience Required

This beautiful area, located near Lake Michigan, experiences all four seasons. Living in this area provides easy access to a number of metropolitan areas including Milwaukee, Green Bay, Madison, and Chicago.
